VIVER CLEANTEACH
Viver CleanTech is a recently established company, founded in 2022 and part of the MMM Group, an industrial group employing approximately 800 people and specialised in the design and development of tube-integrated systems for the automotive industry, with an international presence. The group operates several production facilities in Romania, Mexico and Spain. More specifically, Viver CleanTech acts as a project accelerator for the industrial diversification of the MMM Group, supporting projects aimed at increasing technology readiness levels (TRLs) and facilitating the industrialisation of products developed by start-up companies that require manufacturing capabilities. The company’s strategic technology development activities focus on contributing to the reduction of global warming associated with greenhouse gas emissions. Its main areas of activity include onsite and ondemand hydrogen production technologies, the development of CO₂ capture and transport technologies, and the production of renewable fuels from biogas or through synthesis processes.
Viver CleanTech’s facilities and capabilities include:
- Hydrogen generation validation laboratory, with a functional-scale ATEX-classified testing area equipped to measure the main fluid-dynamic characteristics of the production stream (flow rate, pressure and temperature), as well as gas chromatography analysis at ppb levels for hydrogen characterisation according to ISO 14687.
- Performance testing laboratory, designed for long-duration testing to assess the ageing and stability of catalytic and/or hydrogen purification systems.
- Metal-mechanical laboratory for the testing and analysis of components and subsystems, including structural characterisation and thermomechanical fatigue lifetime validation.
- Metal-mechanical workshop for prototype manufacturing and system assembly, with stainless-steel and aluminium forming and welding capabilities.
- Advanced design and simulation tools, including SOLIDWORKS for mechanical design and simulation.
Within COMECOCO2, Viver CleanTech leads the CDTI industrial grouping and plays a key role in the integration of the complete P2L system and in the development and construction of the catalytic reactor subsystem. Its expertise in engineering, prototyping, system integration and industrial scale-up will help translate the project’s technological developments into an integrated solution for renewable methanol production.
